  @nero002 That issue is not specific to either Opera (we've now seen reports from Firefox and Chrome) or Mac OS. It is caused by some sort of malware, most likely an extension installed in your browser (excepy on Android as Opera for Android bges not support extensions). See the corresponding thread in the Opera GX forum for a list of some of the suspect extensions.

  I figured it out I just turned off all my extensions and it worked. I put the extensions back on one by one to see which one it was that was causing the trouble but it still worked so I don't know, just turning the extensions on and off worked for me.

  @leocg thank you very much for your reply.
  The solution for me came from keep trying the "previous version" websites. Most of them point to a ftp repositories. Keep trying these, eventually brought a version, which is modern advanced one, that the MacOs, instead of reject it out right, warn about the software which did not arrive from the App Store, but allowed a confirmation to use it. Problem solved.
