Stop Opera relaunching itself when it is closed. And STOP the browser defaulting to full screen. You guys are getting as bad as Apple at making our decisions for us.

Opera keeps effing relaunching itself!Opera for Mac
I get very, very, very peed off when every time I close Opera to log off, it keeps effing relaunching itself. every effing time! I this is on a Mac so maybe Windows are not afflicted but if Opera have any pride, they should sort it out.
I don't know whether this is simply a glitch or bloody Opera saying 'eff you, we're staying open'. But effing sort it!

Defaulting to full screen on openingOpera for Mac
Opera defaults to full screen every time it is launched. I don't want it to, but there is - or seems to be - no setting for changing the screen default mode.
Yes, I know I can toggle full screen off and on, but that isn't the point - I don't want it to default to full screen and have to do that each time.
'Opera help' is worse than useless - it just tells us how to toggle between full screen or not. There is nothing about changing the default mode.

Two problems after installing Opera on an old machine running MojaveOpera for Mac
For several reason (repairs) I have had to go back to an old MacBook Pro running Mojave. After a clean install (to get rid of shite) I have installed Opera which is the browser I always use on the other machines. But all I get is a blank cream-coloured page.
I then went to the archive and installed a 2018 version (Mojave was introduced in Set 2018) and that installs fine etc - but it refuses to allow me to log in to synchronise my bookmarks and - crucially - my passwords.
It's driving me mad. What should I do?
PS Ironically, it this forums site accepts my log in and password!

RE: Setting Opera to open Mac Mail as the default clientOpera for Mac
Which 'mailto' protocol? If Opera has one, I can't find the settings. And IF there is a user setting, Opera should make it a damn sight more obvious. That's the whole point of posting here. I googled 'Opera mailto' settings and nothing has come up.
Just had Another check and Nowhere in 'Advanced' is there a setting to set the mailto protocol. For all I know there might be one in the Windows version of Opera but I use Macs. -
Setting Opera to open Mac Mail as the default clientOpera for Mac
If you click on a contact email address on a website in ALL other browsers, your email client (in my case Mac Mail) automatically launches with a new email to be sent to that address. Opera doesn't seem to do this, and I'm baffled why not.
I google the problem until I'm blue in the face but I still haven't come across a solution, so here are my questions:
-
Is there a way to set this up in Opera?
-
If there isn't why doesn't Opera use such a protocol - ALL other browsers do?
-
if Opera even aware that some of us users regard this as a problem?
