When comparing the usefulness of Opera bookmarks menu with other browsers, I find that Opera's bookmarks are unnecessarily buried one level deeper than they should. ...

So... shouldn't this thread title read: 'Bookmarks menu needs to be one folder level shallower'?

Wow, thanks. I was unaware of that FTP site. Now I can disable autoupdate and get an older version of Opera where there is no mute button on the tabs.

I'm noticing that opera 45 flickers a lot. This is not happening in any other browser.
win 7 ultimate SP1, not using hardware acceleration.

There is no script. Delete the tile, then go into Bookmarks and right-click on Trash to select Empty Trash, and it shouldn't come back again. (If you don't empty the trash, it seems to keep coming back.)

I have to agree with donq here though in the latest Opera versions I have been able to force pages that display incorrectly to display correctly by immediately forcing a refresh when the page finishes loading.
Must trip a "Try a different encoding" flag?

What graphics card are you using? Are drivers for it the latest version? My GPU in AMD E-450 APU is blocked with GPU blacklist for reasons unknown, but when I dismiss the blocklist, acceleration of webpages, Youtube, Netflix and others work perfectly.
Sites like Google keep refreshing on new url.

Edge and Opera use different versions of Flash. Just go to the Adobe Flash website while inside of Opera and download it. That should fix the issue.

I would confirm tab freeze on facebook.com, but not sure it's always only during video playing. To me it freezes in completely random situations, I'm unable to say when it happens specifically. On Chrome this issue doesn't occur...
