  I think blue is better than those horrid black folders I had up until version 45.x. I don't know why it isn't user adjustable. It should be part of the theme I would say.

  Menu -> Mail and Chat Accounts -> the account -> edit -> Servers tab

  Make sure everything is correct and retype your username and password.

  I see emails have come in on another pc i have

  If using POP on that PC, make sure it's not set to remove the messages from the server.

  Reading your reply I see that I misunderstood your original post. Looking through the settings I see no option to set what happens when New Tab is opened. It must be hard wired to show the Opera built in Speed Dial.

  Opera homepage > click Blogs on the right > click Product blogs > click 'Desktop team / English' > click any blog post > the link to the full changelog will be at the bottom

  When you select the specific product blog, I agree there should be a link to the overall changelog collection (which is missing), but the url for it is: https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/changelog-for-45/

  Just change the number at the end.

  hi solved the problem i had the web panel addon installed it interfered with messenger as soon as i uninstalled web panel messenger came back lol

  Before closing Opera, try ctrl-left-clicking the currently-selected message in the list so that there are no selected messages. On startup and opening of the view, Opera should then select the top-most or bottom-most message (depending on your sorting settings).

  If that doesn't work, do that again but also switch to a different view before closing Opera.

  The trick should work. However, once new messages are fetched after startup and focusing the top-most message, the selected message will be one below the first newly-received message.

  I would like to support bover21`s report. I am facing the same issue - fresh install, no extensions, Win10. When I receive a new whatsapp message, my Opera browser (45.0.2552.812 (PGO)) just freeze, only solution is to kill the process via task manager.
