Presto! (pun intended) It works! Thanks for the assist @linuxmint7.

That seems to have worked. Are the Turbo servers down? Is that common? I live in Alaska and while I don't always need Turbo, it's helpful if I'm out on work, say above the Arctic Circle, where connectivity isn't as good as in metro areas.

Right... I still remember using Opera from 2006 to 2012 or so. It was so much better back then.

The Bookmarks bar is also shown in the Bookmarks manager - you could add the folder there too.

And yup, i tried with Chrome and it's doesn't work, but with Firefox it works.
I'm using recurent image format : .jpg .png .gif etc

Update to Opera 26, it has no issues with proxies.

And may in be your companies LAN admins policy it's not allowed to use external proxies!
Is there going to be x64 bit opera?

Thats one of the nice things about having each tab in its own process; you can access a lot more than 2gigs as long as its less than 2gigs per process. I regularly top 2gigs total when I have a ton of tabs open.
Opera is swallowing more and more RAM

It's legitimate, but thanks for the confirmation. First time I ever 'watched live' on my computer. New provider tomorrow should cure the problem.

I did notice that when the news 'crawler' on the bottom of the screen started going sort of jerky was when I had to go to the computer, hit Control R and 'catch up'............. which I why I thought maybe my flow was too slow.

Opera 28 kept going for at least 20 minutes at a time, the others less..........
possible to save this page?

Adwarecleaner classified some Opera-Extensions as Spyware / Adware

It's not like you can't visit the site anyway ... you just see a warning with a "Continue anyway" button on it.

This was mentioned on the beta testing blogs ages ago.
On the current developer version (28) the menu appears when the Alt button is pressed and released, not when it's pressed, so the problem shouldn't occur as long as you're holding Alt down when you press Tab, as you have to do of course.
I don't know whether 26/27 are the same.

And? Just like any other chromium-based web-browser or an original Chrome, isn't?

Your comments aren't making much sense. New Opera might be using the Chrome rendering engine which has got some people calling it an unoriginal browser but what I'm saying is that this newer browser does a much better job of page rendering than the old one ever did. In my view this is the most important part of a browser. If you can't view sites properly, no amount of features will compensate. I like new Opera for this very reason. Just my personal view of old and new Opera though!
