Also sometimes youtube videos freeze this way as well but simply changing tabs un-freezes them.
Doesn't work with my player thou.
Retain pinned tabs between browsing sessions?

I found this issue to be kind of lame when I first came over to Opera. I still feel that way, but I've been getting by with the "continue where I left off" option, which is less than desirable. I haven't thought about it much, but now that someone else broached the subject, why has this not been remedied? It's little things like this that make the latest version seem kind of rinky dink.

Are you sure there isn't another printing job that is stuck in spooler queue? There is a free tool called Stalled Printer Repair. It will let you know if there is a stalled printing job in the spooler queue. If there is it will allow you to clear out the spooler. Thank you, lando242, I hadn't thought of that, but it's does the same thing with uBlock turned off 😞 .
I forgot to mention: with other browsers it just logs me in without going to my profile page. And stays logged in.

I am thinking since opera always highlight the emial field, it must be looking for a certain "correct format" that one has input in the opera form. For example, I like to type my name in ALL CAPS. Maybe if it wont work if its in not entered in normal font. Same with phone numbers

I tried enabling opera turbo and disabling it. Both doesn't work. And the beta 27 version isn't working either. 😞 Same issue with pages not loading.

This is just insane.

What exactly is insane about it? They needed to use a different rendering engine as their proprietary one was being left behind technologically and was becoming too difficult to maintain. Their old interface was heavily built upon the old rendered so it was not transferable to the new engine. The old interface was the result of 17 years of development and evolution. The new Opera is less than 2 years old. It takes time to rebuild. You act as if this change has broken your leg and picked your pocket all in one go. Lasted I checked this project cost you zero monies and required you to contribute nothing in any way to it.
How do I get glowing pinned tabs when there's activity?

Afaik Opera only detects the standalone ppapi flash and not the Chrome plugin so, as said, the best thing to do is to download and install it from Adobe's site.

I would hesitate to start up the Opera mail client given the distinct possibility that it will no longer be developed. The standalone is simply the client that was included in the former suite. To my knowledge it has not been updated and there are indications that it will not be further developed. Better to continue with Outlook or Windows Live Mail IMHO.

That's what private windows are for. I wouldn't recommend setting readonly properties. That could have unforeseeable consequences.
