  i search in properties for history configuration.... nothing found.

  There is none afaik.

  let's see what happens in next 120 days...

  My oldest history entry is from february but as i have deleted my profile a couple of times, i can't even say if there is a limit, i will have to wait more time also.

  thanks, but that wasnt the intention, more like some more bookmarks, where the title is shown in the statusbar, when you hover its icon.
  if you do that in the bookmark bar, it only shows the url. but i actually need to see the title.

  unfortunate that this doesnt work..

  Try the Custom New Tab extension.

  https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/custom-new-tab-page/?display=en

  Set the page you want for your new tab, and then Ctrl T or Ctrl N will take you there.

  For when you open the browser, go to Settings (Alt P), the Browser tab, and On Startup, and set what you want if you don't want the speed dial there either.

  Another possibility for an extension is Home Page in New Tab, https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/homepage-in-new-tab/?display=en

  though I haven't tried it.

  No, theres not a setting for this. There is a warning if you try to open many tabs all at once but thats it. I've used Opera to open over 400 tabs all in on go and it does it quite happily.

  Sorry. By the time I woke up it was acting normally again. I hadn't closed Opera at all, so maybe I was on Facebook's end?

  Just now was the first time I've ever opened a private window. Not sure what I'd really use that for.

  After searching for problem on google I fixed it.

  "desktop shortcut of opera, right click, property, objective, like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\launcher.exe" change it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\launcher.exe" --disable-directwrite-for-ui"

  i did a new install and now some of the folders i can toggle between list and folder - some still won't change though.

  Specific ones or it's something random?

  well now it does seem to be random 😞

  one of the folders i couldn't change before, i can change now. the new one i set up (and moved most of the items from the one i couldn't change the view) i can't change now...and that new one? it changed on its own. unsorted bookmarks also has now gone to list view (on its own) and i can't change that one. most of the rest i can change - just a few (at the moment) that won't toggle.

  You can't copy saved passwords, unfortunately. They are encrypted to the user account, unless you could actually clone the old drive you will not be able to read them. The same would be true of cookies and user certificates.

  In the warning page click on "why this warning is being show"(or something like that), check who have blacklisted the page and contact them about it.

  Go into settings and change your keyboard shortcuts so Ctrl+Space is no longer used to bring up the speed dial.
