  Are you using the Opera 12.x (Presto) or the current Opera (Blink) 21?

  Outlook.com and hotmail.com (hotmail, msn mail, live mail are all called Outlook by Microsoft)

  One other thing might be a corrupted cache file, might try emptying cache then restart Opera and then try to load the pages again

  I have Windows 7, but not the French Version. Have no problem saving images. I right click, and choose save as, and can add where to locate it in my computer.

  I recently added the Opera extension, Photo Tagger.

  There if you click on the star (that will appear on images after you download and install the extension), you can instantly save the image to a folder in your speed dial. You can if you choose then open up that image, right click on it and save it in your computer. Perhaps, that work-around might at least solve the immediate problem, if you can save the image that way to your computer from the Photo Tagger display of your favorite images on your speed dial.

  Still sounds like something is wrong with your Opera. Maybe a bug. It would help if others with Windows 8.1 (the French version) (or just Windows 8.1 in general) comment on whether they are having a similar problem. Bonne chance!

  ... the other day, for some reason or other, I did an uninstall and reinstall of Opera 11.64. I used Revo Uninstaller for the uninstall as I do for most uninstalls. When it prompts for whether you want to delete the additional files, folders and registry entries that it finds, I was prompted with whether I wanted the "Opera Software" folder deleted. That made me pause and wonder whether that "Opera Software" folder was the very same Opera Software folder where my Opera 20.0.1387.91 was installed. I didn't know right off the bat whether it was possible that there was another "Opera Software" folder within the Opera 11.64 files. So, just to be on the safe side, I opted to not select that "Opera Software" folder to be deleted during the Opera 11.64 uninstall.

  Over the years, I've learned (the hard way) to be very careful about using ancillary uninstallers like Revo to remove Opera from my systems where I've got multiple versions of Opera installed. I've also learned to 'custom' install all my Opera versions into uniquely-named folders, rather than the typical default-prompted "*\opera" folder name (eg: I custom-name the folder to something like *\opera1164). There are simply too many ways for confusion between versions otherwise when later uninstalling one of them.

  There are many users, though perhaps not a majority, who remain discontented and disappointed with the discontinuation of the design of Presto Opera and the perceived loss of so much of its configurability and its clever ways of doing a lot of things, built up over many years of development and user-involved testing.
  Some of these users harbor a gut-level, instinctive perception that if they just keep criticising and explaining the importance (to them) of the things not present in Blink Opera, somehow Opera's developers will "see the light" and put them back in - or else, even toss up their hands and revert the design back to Presto. Unfortunately, gut-level instinctive perceptions are not always right, and I (though I'm one of those 'discontented' users) believe the Opera browser die has been cast, so to speak. That is, Opera is not going to reverse itself and return to Presto; most of the specific and detailed configurability I revered in Presto Opera is not going to return under Blink; and new features are irreversibly replacing old features because Opera's perception of the user base it is seeking to attract has fundamentally changed.
  So either a user adapts to reality and moves along as best they can, or they keep hoping against hope that their continual carping and criticism will somehow cause "the miracle" to occur so that things will go back to where they were. The latter is a common human trait, linking "denial" with the human tendency to continually seek a return to "normalcy". Unfortunately, the trait can also leave one living outside of reality... and that's not a good place to stay for very long.

  Honestly, I know it will change nothing and that is not my motivation. I come here 1)for hopes of updates to Opera Mail and 2)because I am the curious type. But I can't help myself when I see such hypocrisy and petty taunts aimed at loyal and long time users

  I think this is not possible. In your example:

  FlipBack=Delay, 5000 & Delete permanently

  FlipBack , FlipBack=Delay, 2500 & Send queue mail

  FlipBack , FlipBack , FlipBack=Delay, 1500 & switch to previous page

  By pressing "FlipBack , FlipBack , FlipBack" (three clicks with left button when right is on hold), You simply should get triple action instead of one action.

  Hi Fix-kun, to get rid of this issue, you can simply remap the keyboard shortcut for the "ParentDirectory" "Ctrl+Shift+Backspace" as follows:

  Close the Opera, and go to the Opera's profile (find the path in: O-Menu>About Opera>Paths>Profile), Open the "Preferences" file in your text editor, and edit it as below: { "Keybindings": { "Basic": { "ParentDirectory": [ "Ctrl+Shift+Backspace" ] }, "Settings": { "AdvancedEnabled": true } }, Save the changes, relaunch the Opera.

  @gigara: if it's any consolation, I'm experiencing the same thing and your example mirrors my own. I believe the issue is being worked on but I have not heard any update on this in several weeks.

  thank you. i manage to fix it temporarily with zoom from settings but now i can't zoom in-out in pictures and interface is still tiny. text size also not working on most website. i guess we have to wait untill HiDPI Support is fixed because that is best way to fix this issue.

  my friend has 1440p(3k) computer i can't imagine that resolution.
  Size is only an issue with dpi between 100 & 175. 200 is switched off. So the 3k monitor is "fine" (blurry, but not tiny).

  sorry i didn't quite understand dpi part so it doesnt support 1920x1080p ? then i guess we have to wait untill its supported otherwise its really annoying but still i love opera

  I also encountered some changes related to shortcuts and found a workaround that doesn't require to actually change the default Opera shortcut. In my case, manually setting up the shortcut in the preferences using the same shortcut actually fixed my issue.
  So in your case, instead of setting up a different shortcut, try entering the default one in the preferences:
  "Keybindings": { "Basic": { "ParentDirectory": [ "Ctrl+Backspace" ] } },

  I haven't tested that, but maybe you're seeing the same root issue as I did and it works for you too. For reference, here's the thread I posted in:

  I installed "download chrome extension" it allows you to add chrome extensions to opera 21. I then installed "RSS Feed Reader" from the chrome app store. Its working great for me so far. I also installed adblock, passlink, and privacy badger (privacy badger is from the chrome store) without any issues. I'm still trying to figure out how to skin this browser without any luck at this point. I hope they allow skins soon.
