Like the user noticed https://forums.opera.com/post/393696 , looks like the sidebar history panel is not adopted at all (just a copy paste of the full hiatory page).
Instead of link names there's domain in the left row, to see the name is need to extend panel.
When expanding far right the full History page is visible.
In overall, the redesigned sidebar history panel is a lot less functional (taking into account the huge spaces between items ) than the previous one.
