@pclaudel1 I'm keeping the redesigned (why???) History page open till the Search Tabs glitch gets really fixed.

you mean the flag '#history-redesign' ?
Here it doesn't matter if the flag is disabled or not, crashes anyway. But the flag state is glitchy as it seems.
By default it shows 'enabled'
After I select disabled
After relaunching it shows that the default state is disabled

@pclaudel1 It isn't even enabled by default yet since it's still in development.

@leocg: What?! Isn't it the other way around? If not, then why does the changelog say the popup has a Chrome design? I can clearly see that the theme colour is gone & it looks like Chrome. And btw are you connected with the developers by any chance?

@pclaudel1: I think she meant that bug is identified and fixed internally and we see the fix when next developer build is published. Probably next monday or tuesday. Very annoying bug - I forgot that and always crashed twice when searching for tab. (That's a problem with tab-o-holic with about 250 tabs
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others. ...

@andrew84 It's disabled by default for me for what it's worth. Could just be a glitchy default or Opera has it enabled in developer automatically for a percentage of profiles.

Noticed the new 'skip' floating button for videos.
Fortunately, the button is optional in Settings. Also, I noticed the #video-picture-in-picture-controls-update-2024 flag. I don't know if it's an old flag from 2024 or some new one.
I hoped that the flag means restoring old controls for the new redesigned PiP, but enabling the flag changes nothing. -

@krishnakrverma The changelog talks about passwords pop-up, it has nothing to do with history.

@koimark: Yes, you are right. It's better to allow big changes to be tested. Since you are an old user of Opera, I believe & follow you. By the way, do you have any idea when Browser Operator will be launched?

@leocg: Leave all that... your Volunteer batch is not visible until I turn on force dark mode on the blogs page, maybe you should be worried about that haha... no emojis here

@leocg I didn't take any screenshots, but my experience was identical to Andrew's. That is, the flag for redesign indicated that Enabled was the default prior to my selection of Disabled. When I restarted Opera after making the change, however, it was Disabled that was marked as the default.
Still, this is pretty trivial stuff.
