I get a splash screen every time I open a window.
The display is buggy and disappears at certain points in the bookmarks.
The window does not disappear even if I delete the last tab.
I can't zoom in and out, which I used to be able to do before. This update has too many bugs, please fix them as soon as possible!

On Speed Dial, I can't remove entry that has been added there. (by accident in this case)
OS is Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS

Although I‘m facing only minor issues with version 102, I‘m really hoping they get their things right, soon.
I don‘t see any appealing alternative to Opera for me, right now.
I‘ve tried Vivaldi for a day, but it‘s simply too much for me. -

@genegold have you tried a double left click in the space to the right of your tabs?

@yakuzakyuu my Mint is based on Ubuntu 20.04 and "Move to trash" is working.

This update is such a mess, unfortunately.
- the splash screen with every single start
- minimize/maximimze on Win doesn’t work correctly
- the sidebar is increasing with each usage
- the download button disappeared without reason (and came back)
- the mouse seems to be lagging, at least when scrolling
Please make Opera a pleasant experience again. I‘m considering to switch back to Vivaldi

This update is a disaster. At least on macOS.
Sidebar panel is not usable at all and is placed on totally wrong place.
There is also no space between site title and favicon on bookmarks that are in the bookmarks folder.I'm curious how could you let such things to go to production...

@cookie-drummer My Mac installation is better than the Win one, actually. Linux is even just another cup of tea.

@celticcross: I'm the opposite, haha! Everything seems to be fine on Win. Not usable on macOS.

@cookie-drummer: It's a disaster on every platform. Since around O98 the bugs have been pretty severe and are not being fixed. The new ones are being introduced regularly as well. Basically new regressions every single release.

@max1c It's really a shame, because if everything worked fine, it would be a really great option and alternative to the bigger boys in town.
I'm using it parallel with Vivaldi at the moment. It seems as they had to rush and throw out Opera One because of version 100. I experienced issues with O99 as well, and I hoped they would be wiped out with One. And, honestly, for me 100 was better and more stable than is 102 now. -

@genegold That's a very interesting find. Well done. Trusting that Opera devs see this post.
