Opera 81.0.4175.0 developer update

Is this a mistake(typo) with 81 version(and actual version is 80.0.4175.0)? The changelog still says 'Changelog for 80'. It should be a separate branch, shouldn't it?
If not a mistake, then what's the point to hurry with the new release?
80 version had only 4 builds, usually there are ~6 builds per version, it means 2 weeks more for testing and fixing. -

@johnd78
It's a pity, but this bug has now moved to Opera 81.0.4175.0 Developer.
The previous thread is locked already for some reason, so I reply here.
I my opinion it's even worse and unusable now. Just broken version.
- Launch browser
- Open any(single) tab
- Close the tab
- Open one or many tabs
- Close one of the opened tabs > browser closes

There's still bug on flags page(for all flags). Flag's default state is shown incorrectly if the flag was changed previously(followed by browser relaunching).

DNA-95294 Enable #fast-tab-tooltip on developer stream
Make the feature optional in Settings. I prefer the previous small tooltip.

Why is the old Opera 80.x from the 31st of August still on top of the blog page (https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/) while this blog for the actual version 81.x is invisible out of sight?

@ralf-brinkmann Hi Ralf, it's usually this way because more important posts (which include more significant info) are positioned at the top of the page, to make it more noticeable for all.

"DNA-95333 Crash when closing a tab with tooltip visible" fixed, but window closed when closing a tab.

Is it possible to restyle the thick black border of buttons/textfields and make it blue like previously? Chromium's style looks ugly.
There was #form-controls-refresh flag previously.
Take it as a suggestion. -

And put this topic on top in the place of 'Opera 80.0.4162.0 developer update'.

@l33t4opera Take a look at the top five most recent messages above. And then look for the actual latest news about Opera Developer. You have to know beforehand that there is such a thing. And you have to look for it outside of the visible area of the screen.
