Hacked Account

Two days ago, my Opera account was hacked, in which the hacker erased all of my sync data, including bookmarks and passwords. I want to recover all of that without having to do so manually.

@hopkinsthemovie change your password, enable the second factor authenticator and login to sync again. Your data should be synced to the servers again.
The data that was removed from the servers can`t be recovered.

@leocg I have since changed my password, but still have lost my bookmarks and passwords, which I intend to recover. I don't have the time to manually re-enter all of that.

@hopkinsthemovie The data on your Opera installations should still be their on your devices. If that is not the case, you will have to manually add it.

@leocg Nobody has time to manually re-enter every single password. There should be a way to revert those changes so that I get my passwords back.

@hopkinsthemovie For that and other reasons, it's important to always have a backup of crucial data.
By the way, the only way to remove data from your Opera installations is by doing it locally.

@hopkinsthemovie And they have it for deleted data? Or it's just for the current data, like many other services have?

@leocg I have yet to confirm if Opera has such a request feature. On top of that, I can't even access sync.opera.com to see if my passwords are archived there.

@leocg I get this error message:
This page isn’t working
If the problem continues, contact the site owner.HTTP ERROR 400

@hopkinsthemovie Do you get the same in other browsers? Seems a server issue.

And now, I am able to view the sync page, showing I still have the 26 saved passwords on there, but they are encrypted.

@hopkinsthemovie Now login to Sync (the service, not that web page), so that your data, including the passwords, can be synced and used.

@hopkinsthemovie Then the only way would be resetting it and your synced data.

@leocg I do not want to lose my only chance at recovering the synced data.

There should at least be a way to download my encrypted passwords from Opera Sync.
