Why not fixed the vulnerability bug with the lasted Opera update?
Opera 68.0.3618.173 does not fix the critical vulnerability Chrome Browser Bug [1].

@cabusopera You can disable ad-blocker in settings. In fact, it's disabled by default.
What do you call quick access and screenshots?

So I tried to update to this new 68.0.3618.173 stable version, but for some dumb reason I'm getting version 67.0.3575.115, which is older than the one I had before, and now my extensions data is gone. Again. Thanks. And I can't roll back, because backups are gone due to many tries to get the latest version. Let people download an offline installer or tell them they are installing the older version so this bullshit would never happen again!
And I do remember deleting this account few times before, yet here it is, still here and still working. Will think twice before trusting Opera with my info now.

I don't interested in GX browser, but I read that GX will present a 'Force Dark Pages feature'. Is this feature something special from Opera and will be integrated into regular version too or it's just the chromium's feature (#enable-force-dark flag) that Opera presents as their own?

Had to restart Opera twice as the restart Opera to update showed up before the update was ready.
Why Open the Web?
Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content. -

@alexs: That may or may not affect Opera 68 as it is using an older branch of Chromium, the Opera Beta has Chromium 84 in testing

@alexs Can you explain this vulnerability? How likely is one to be tripped up by this vulnerability using Opera with ad-block and tracker-block?
I for one don’t like Vivaldi as much as Opera. I cannot even view USAtoday.com with Vivaldi.

@treego Google does not yet publish details for security reasons, but classifies the three vulnerabilities as high.
