it's sad that Opera AS can’t provide this…
I think the Opera Devs doesn't care what the community wants.
I found the extension Undo Closed Tabs Button.
With right click on the icon you can fixed the extension on the tool bar.

https://mdogjafcalfmgkbemncinilkmonecidh.chromiumapp.org/...
Mit der Fehlermeldung:
This site can’t be reached
Check if there is a typo in mdogjafcalfmgkb
@sgrandin see https://forums.opera.com/post/207312
Goto the URL opera://flags/#search-in-open-tabs
disable the flag and restart Opera.
For Opera stable version: 88.0.4412.27 (Chrome build 102.0.5005.61)
Go to http://ppa.launchpad.net/canonical-chromium-builds/stage/ubuntu/pool/main/c/chromium-browser/
Search for chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra_102.0.5005
(Ctrl+F) and download the following .deb:
chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra_102.0.5005.115-0ubuntu0.18.04.1_amd64.deb
Then unpack the .deb into an empty folder, unpack data.tar.xz there. In the folder /usr/lib/chromium-browser/
is the proper libffmpeg.so.
Copy the libffmpeg.so into the directory /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/opera/lib_extra/
(If not present, create it with mkdir lib_extra
)
Restart Opera and testing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ1vN_91KO0
or https://demo.castlabs.com/
With new Chrome build go to opera://about/
and read the Chrome version in the browser id.
@bbildman I know, see my post above with the extension

@jedi-am
The Opera developers do not care about the Linux versions of Opera.
I have already pointed out several times (also via bug reports) that there are several errors in Opera (Linux). It will never be fixed.
opera %U --window-size=xxxx,xxx --window-position=xxx,xxx --lang=de
Because of the once again not working videos in Opera Stable (Opera devs shame on you for not supporting the Linux versions), following information for this version:
Try the Chromium package from the Linux Mint upstream.
http://packages.linuxmint.com/list.php?release=wilma#upstream
chromium_121.0.6167.160~linuxmint1+virginia_amd64.deb
unpack this and copy the libffmpeg.so
from /chromium/usr/lib/chromium/libffmpeg.so
to /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/opera/lib_extra
then restart Opera Stable, this works perfektly from me (Debian/sid).
I found this Info on https://pkgs.org/download/chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra
Mit Opera One (Version: 104.0.4944.23) funktioniert die Erweiterung wieder.

Yes, reinstalling and new Opera profile does not help.
The GMX MailCheck extension no longer works. I can no longer log in to the extension.
https://addons.opera.com/de/extensions/details/gmx-mailcheck/
I think this is related to the automatic change of the Opera profile folder. Before: Default
, after: Default.old
(GMX MailCheck no works). A new Opera profile has no Default
folder.
GMX MailCheck works with Opera Beta and Opera Developer, but both have a Default
folder.

DNA-110244 Translations for O101 (again)
Where in Linux is a translation? On Linux i can not set the browser language in the settings. Why? The language setting in the browser has been missing on Linux (Debian).
The default language of my OS is German, Opera's UI language is only English.
