chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra_99.0.4844.84-0ubuntu0.18.04.1_amd64
But no luck

@nkgrzegorzewicz Of course there is. I have it on all the time. But with the latest update it doesn't help with flashbangs but justs makes the web pages dark. That is why I want a specific setting for forcing the dafult blank page color.

I hate white flashbangs when I open a website, it was a problem solved until the latest version. Now the problem is here again.
I think Opera should have a setting that forces the default color when switching websites. Default blank page color.

@valdineidossantos Same problem here, we need an urgent update now. It is not usable like this.
The previous update made using screenshot utility crash the browser and this newest one made visiting pages crash the browser.
Opera team is drunk or what?

@leocg it was working before the upgrade so I thought they would not undo that setting without my consent, so would they? Yes!

@exoplanet I solved it by visiting easy setup (theme settings) the dark mode was disabled there even though in the general settings it was on.
