Opera Browser keeps unpinning itself from the taskbar

It always happens on my pc build, everytime I laucnh Opera, the program unpins itself automatically reguardless while on my laptop it doensn't unpin itself.

How do I fix this?

If the installer pinned it, it should stay pinned. If you pinned it yourself, there are likely to be issues ...

If you right-click launcher.exe in Opera's program files directory while Opera is closed, that often seems to work better than right-click the unpinned Opera taskbar button and choosing to pin it.

@pringlescringles this used to happen to me about a year ago and then it stopped happening. I think it was on PC too, and not laptop. No idea why.

What version of Windows btw? More specific instructions can be given knowing that.

I tried this I went to start and searched up %appdata% and went to \Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar deleted the shortcut and repinned it and it works now.

And I'm running Windows 10.
