I did the update just now and definitely received 131.0.5877.24
That is also what the Opera Changelog page shows, and my Windows11 Control Panel too.Opera Admins:
This is not a big deal, but years ago somebody was able to re-order the list of updates on this page:
https://get.geo.opera.com/pub/opera/desktop/It would be nice if that could be corrected so updates don't get buried in the middle of the list due to the numbering scheme.

Also fixed the issue I was having with the previous release of the system fan kicking in at full speed when opening Opera.

Please pay attention to the bug: BUG-21893
The dialog box for adding a page or folder to the bookmarks bar extends beyond the monitor borders.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
1.Create multiple folders with several nesting levels (I have three).
2.Open the dialog box for adding a new folder or page to a third-level folder.
3.Then, you can try opening several more tree levels in this dialog box without collapsing them.
4.Click "Save" or "Enter."
5. After this, subsequent Add dialogs will always display the tree structure as it was when you last saved it. However, the dialog window extends beyond the screen, so much so that even collapsing all the branches doesn't help. You can only click Escape to close it. -

@sklunk: Version 31 arrived immediately after 24. viz. The update to 24 occurred normally,
Then when I again checked for updates (Help>About) then v31 arrived...I cannot help you with the changelog issue. I don't get that weird out of order stuff that you report.

Might have been an update that was only there on the servers for a short bit and got then got pulled. 131.0.5877.24 is shown as the newest now.
If you have .31, you might want to manually download and install .24 as there might be something wrong with .31.

@sklunk Yeah, that's always been annoying. It just does simple alphabetical sorting and doesn't handle build numbers well.

Please I am finding it difficult to redeem my over 4200 opera points, I use the Opera Mini browser, but in the reward and redeem section there's no option for me to redeem my points, and I am already worried, please I need your assistance, thanks. -

The sort order I am talking about is not on the Change Log page, it's the directory where all stable releases of Desktop Opera are maintained. If you click the link in my previous post it will take you there. Again, these are only stable releases, not all betas/etc., which is why I just always check there instead of the Opera blogs.

Hello! Bugs: Opera AI highlighter looks bad. It's perfect there.
The part above looks ugly.
In the simple settings menu, the blue line only appears when I move the mouse there, otherwise it doesn't. It should always be there.
In the history menu at the top of the search bar, the word "between" no longer fits. The word is cut off.
VPN icon does not disappear from the address bar when it is turned off. How can I remove it from there?

Thanks - BUT - the purpose of my post is to highlight that "releases should not be posted BEFORE an announcement".
I don't speak Norwegian and so cannot tell the Opera folks about this documentation error.

@whisperer Do you have auto video pop-out option turned on?
I didn't mange to reproduce the crash here on Win10 following your description.
But I easily can reproduce the bug (crash) if the auto PiP option is enabled.
Open YT and start playing video > create new tab (PiP should appear) > now using Ctrl+tab (holding Ctrl a bit longer) crashes the browser. -

Hello Opera Team,
I am writing to provide feedback regarding the latest UI changes in Opera One (Version: 131.0.5877.24).
In previous versions, there was a very helpful small purple notification dot (a mini-circle) on the top-right of the download arrow icon whenever a download was completed. This allowed users to see at a glance that their file was ready without having to click the icon or wait for the pop-up.
In the current version, this indicator is gone. Currently, there is no visual feedback on the toolbar icon itself after a download finishes. This is a significant downgrade in terms of usability and "Quality of Life."
My request:
Please bring back the notification dot or provide a toggle in the settings to re-enable "Download Completion Indicators" on the toolbar icon. It was a subtle but essential part of the workflow.Is this a known bug in the current build, or was this a deliberate design choice?
