I know Aria is not available in private mode. Previously one would get a statement saying something like this. Just making the screen go dark is simply a bug.

@whisperer If I understand correctly, you see a darkened screen but no popup informing you that Aria isn’t available in private mode. I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue on my end, but thank you for bringing it to our attention. To help us investigate further, could you please let me know which operating system you’re using? A screenshot would also be very helpful. Additionally, does the popup appear normally when you use Aria in normal (non-private) mode?

@whisperer Here on Win 10x64 I can see the popup in private mode.

            Edit:

open directly into private mode by right-clicking the Opera icon in the task bar

            then I can confirm here.

I'm using the Windows version. It's because I open directly into private mode by right-clicking the Opera icon in the task bar. It doesn't happen when I first open Opera in normal mode and then open a private mode window. A screenshot will of course not help in this case. You got it right, I just get a darkened screen, nothing more.

Why do you have to scroll beyond an idiotic large image to read the changelog?

                I mean this image:

Why was this post removed? Was it because of the large image? If this is considered abuse, then why is Opera abusing it's users this way?

I'm very sorry that the image was offended because I claimed it is idiotically large. It was meant to express my opinion on the inappropriateness of the size of the image in the context it is used in this case. In no way did I mean to attack the true nature of the image and I humbly apologize to the image if I caused unnecessary discomfort.

Hopefully that clears the air enough for Opera employees to answer why users must scroll through a very large image before able to read the changelog.

@leocg I always see https://www-static-blogs.operacdn.com/desktop/wp-content/themes/opera-2022/static/img/img-placeholder.e3550a73cbe5432de9d7de613fbf1e1a.jpg (which is huge) that I have to scroll past. It was initially very annoying, but I'm so used to it that I overlook it now.

                                Hello.

Another user here with Linux (specifically the XFCE edition of Ubuntu). I tried it, and although the 2023 verification key still shows in apt-key that it expired yesterday, the message has now disappeared, and apt is now working normally again and updating normally.

                                Regards.

@burnout426 I see that image, but it doesn't seem that very huge for me. Maybe I just used to it.

By the way, when the page is opened from Opera for Android, the image looks smaller.

@marinaz909: I have tried those exact steps, it does not work. It just says Player when I hover my mouse over it while music is playing.
