I guess developers don't really care reading this comments but I will try reach out for fifth time anyways, Opera updates since December have broken the functionality of thousands of extensions, including tab buddy, tab suspender and so on, now those extensions only affect tabs in current workspace and tabs outside of workspace aren't being saved

So if I lose my tabs after opera crash now I only have them saved a single workstation - using Tab buddy and other tab managers

Thank you for tab emojis but can you try to instead of adding features fix bugs chromium has that are driving users away?

Such as this one about content area flashes white when changing or re-opening tabs .

@mixchild: Thank you for your feedback. As mentioned in comments before, Opera only supports extensions from our official extensions site. We appreciate your input!

@mixchild: Thank you for your feedback! Since Opera is based on Chromium, issues like the one you mentioned are tied to the Chromium engine itself. We're closely monitoring updates from the Chromium team and will integrate their fixes into Opera as soon as they're available and tested on our end. We appreciate your patience and understanding!

@daria19: That is my point. Extensions like tab suspender now only suspends tabs in current workspace , this issue affects both opera's and chrome's extensions

@daria19: this issue has been around since 2006 so almost 20 years later if chromium hasn't fixed it why will it fix anytime soon

@mixchild I still haven't gotten an answer saying whether the changes to how Opera exposes tabs in other workspaces to the chrome.tabs API is intentional or not.

@burnout426: I hope answer will be given soon since this issue is affecting extension from opera's store as well, those extensions can't keep track on tabs from other workspaces.

@burnout426: Can you please answer my second question if white flashing could be fixed since opera implemented an option to force dark theme on browser content

@mixchild Don't know for sure, but I would guess that it could be fixed (either in Chromium if the issue is there or in Opera if Opera puts in the effort). I just don't want to assume that it's an easy fix.
