Dear opera, why do I keep having a startup animation where this dude pops up and screaming Opera GXXXXX? Its honestly very annoying

I bet that the money wasted in this marketing campaign could pay some months of a new developer capable of fixing a lot of bugs.

Other than that, the video is a good metaphor for what the Opera team is doing with the reputation of the browser, ie, hammering it until there is nothing good left to remember. Or, from a different perspective, this may be what old users will do to their computers after using Opera One for a few days.

@lord-of-the-lost "Opera Software" is a single company, it should not waste money anywhere. Unless it wants to break.
GX, imo, is a temporary product made more likely for marketing purposes; some day it will be discontinued. Perhaps the broken One ui will be force-pushed into it even before it is discontinued.
One ui shouldn't have been pushed into Stable channel yet. It is clear Opera Software doesn't have developers capable of fixing it properly, and so the worst decision was made: rush it the way it was (a big unstable mess).
One may argue that Opera is trying to earn more money with such marketing partnerships . Well, it has been doing that for several years already, but the quality of its product is only decreasing. Inefficient strategy.

This is completely irrelevant. Also, there isn't really any proof for this.

Opera goes through two stages before stable. In my opinion, Opera has its bugs, is perfectly able to and currently is fixing them, and we should be thankful that Opera even exists. Other browsers are buggy or Big Tech.

The
qualityof Opera's products is subjective to opinion, and in my opinion it is improving. Opera One was an awesome change. And, there is nothing wrong with partnerships.In summary, Opera is awesome! Keep up the good work @Opera-Comments-Bot @opera-fans @burnout426 @leocg

Clearly, neither you nor Opera QA care to fix important bugs; people are reporting the same bugs in every single release since Opera One (v100). One or two critical are fixed every 2 or 3 months, but a truck of critical regressions remains.
I care about Opera, but it has taken the path of corruption. The less than 3% market share it has is proved by its [missing] quality.
Paying fanboys to lie about your problems is the way to become more irrelevant.

First, I am not part of Opera Tech Support (“you?”).
Secondly, Opera is very actively fixing bugs. Massive programs aren't just magically bug free, though, so it takes some time.
Third, just because people are reporting the same bugs doesn't mean the Opera is not working to fix them.

I don't agree here. Quite critical bugs can stay 2 or even 3 Stable releases in a row after being reported yet in Developer thread.
I won't touch the new 'bubble' UI here. I don't like it and I don't understand it. Why content border is cool, why the borders everywhere is cool...
Also, the habitual tabs management (moving/dragging), which is one of the main features of browsers and which worked very smoothly in pre-One version, is still not fully restored.Unfortunately, I have to agree with @ricardob . I'm stuck on pre-One version because the One doesn't suit me (currently, at least). And I'm pretty sure that the new One design will hit GX version soon.

@andrew84 I respect your opinion, but I like the new styles of Opera One, and I am willing to wait while Opera fixes their bugs and improves the UI.
