"New window" and "New private window" both have its O menu button out of the position it should have until minimizing/maximizing the window.

@auxce The menu? What's wrong with it? Also, it's not the mentioned issue.

@auxce, oh, really, it's true. I have the same issue in a new window and new private window. In my normal window it's all ok.

Does anyone have problems with Instagram page with this build? I have a lot crashed tabs with this version.

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others. ...

@koimark: Noticed a crash in earlier version but it was also upgrading that time, no crash after the upgrade on version 100

Dragging a tab doesn't let you add it to an existing window like it used to. You can only create a new window now

@creedboydc: If you have two windows and try to move a tab from one to another you can't. It's pretty easy to replicate this by moving a tab to its own window and then trying to put it back to the window it was originally in

Opera is a very fast browser that I really respect for its sheer speed despite all the bloat that comes with, especially the sidebar with all the social media garbage built-in. No matter how much more bloat Opera developers add, the browser still remains lightning fast, probably the fasters desktop browser that I know of.

What I don't like about Opera since it switched from Presto to Blink, is that with each new version, the UI gets uglier, more bloated and less customizable.

                                        Here are a few examples:

                                        alt text

                                        alt text
The UI of the first versions of Opera, starting with 14 was the most beautiful, most clean UI ever that was just the right size - not too compact, not oversized like Opera One is trying to be. For the record, Opera team, not everyone is using a touchpad, no need to make Opera One's UI big enough for big toes.

I wish for Opera developers to come to their senses and remember how beautiful Opera used to look. Even the current pre-One Opera has a lot of bloat, like buttons on the right side of the address bar that cannot be disabled. Why are you forcing people to see buttons they use that are just taking up valuable space?

Even the Speed Dial button is one button that I don't need, probably clicked once to see what it does and never clicked again, but I can't disable it.

I think the Opera One launch will be a disaster, because you can no longer click the top edge of the screen to select tabs and you can't click the right edge of the screen to grab the scroll bar. These are basic features that need to be accessible. Even the worst browsers that nobody use allow that. Come on, Opera, don't be so short-sighted.

Opera is a great browser, don't ruin it like Firefox or Edge do - making UI changes for the sake of changes, even though said changes bear no benefits whatsoever. Firefox for example has had at least 4 UI changes for no reason since they released version 4.0 in 2011 and those changes did not improve anything, while their more core UI elements like History Sidebar hasn't changed since the 1.0 days in 2002 or something, their History and Downloads are still in windows in 2023, just like they were in 2002. Don't be a walking, talking joke like Firefox, please.

@weilan I don't even want the speed dial as store all the links in bookmarks bar. The speed dial tab process itself takes quite a memory hog even when it's not opened. Speed dial is good for Mobile version only since you don't have to dig into menus for the links/bookmarks.

Don't understand why there is no feature to completely disable (not turn off) such features which the end users don't need.
