macOS is speledl wrong on opera://about/ for the last few years

      Why Open the Web?

Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content.

@leocg: I see the same bug every so often where the GUI hangs and does not show the progress bar or the restart button for the update

The SearchTabs popup still closes after an currently active tab was closed

Disabling "Snooze inactive tabs to save memory" at opera://settings/userInterface will be welcome for a lot of users.

What for this flag? It's disabled by default. The description is similar to SearchTabs feature.

                @andrew84 It's from Chromium.

@leocg ok. But I don't see such flag in the latest Edge build (Canary). Also, there's a particular statement 'in Top Opera UI' in the description.

@andrew84 Most probably all mentions of Chromium/Chrome are replaced by Opera.

Chrome Canary has that flag by the way.

Will be the video pop-out ever finished and work like it worked previously (with title, remember its size and position on the screen and etc.)?

No problem here. So I think it has something to do with your settings.
I have tried with scripts not allowed and with scripts allowed (everything controlled by uMatrix). Temporary cookies (session cookies) are allowed except third party cookies. Maybe that helps you.

At this point upgrade to 75 results in a "non-starter".

                                    75.0.3925.0 | 04-Jan-2021 12:08

I have installed separate version 75 and all fine.
Can only think settings of some sort are now out of sync for upgrade route?

Yes having delved deep into the mysterious crash reports. Dark.UI is repeated.
Reset ui in 74 then back to 75.
Swapping between Light to Dark in 75 makes a crash!?
I shall try to find reason why. I do not want to reset everything.

~ "Dark mode ui with odd color and size adjustments strike again" ~

75 still works but........ DEBUG.LOG says
                                      crashpad_client_win.cc(522)] CreateProcess:
                                      registration_protocol_win.cc(103) CreateFile:

............could that be cos i deleted them?

                                      Possible culprits.
                                      .\installer.exe
                                      .\installer_helper_64.exe

                                      A motley crew!

                                      The epilog:
I have no use for these persistently annoying files except for launcher and that famous egyptian or is it chinese song and dance "SANDBOX" in linux.
