@bfox272: I don't use the bookmarks bar, so I just enabled it to see and it didn't happen on latest Win10 Insider build 20H2 19042.541 with all updates. So maybe it's related to Mac, those windows users you mention probably did use previous build of Opera, this browser has this problem that it won't delete installed folders of previous versions for some reason, I always delete them manually, reported it for years and never got an official answer from the staff.

You should try the method I gave you, you have nothing to lose. But I'm not familiar with the location of those files in Mac so I can't provide much more help than this.

Latest 171 build copy search emergent menu again stopped working, this is pure crap. Back to O-70.

@hectormaciasa1979: It's saying I have to restart to update to 71 even when I deleted autoupdate.exe in Windows Explorer.

                    Annoying!!!

@jamesbradwell: make sure you have hardware acceleration enabled, that made it work for me!
Sadly, I can't find right now who mentioned this to thank them porperly 😞

Quick note to say the author of RevertSite has found a workaround and I have my blue Facebook back in Opera again: http://prntscr.com/ure4jm

Thank God, other browsers suck. No VPN, no picture in picture, no gestures, lose unpublished comments all the time...

This garbage is totally unusable. Emergent search/copy again stopped working and worse, closed tabs freezes, you can't even close it, only way out is clicking again in the icon in the title bar.

The way you're ignoring these messages is insulting at least.

Latest unannounced build, will try 72 beta, something tells me it does the trick, otherwise I'm back to 70.

@hectormaciasa1979: I think I figured it out, I deleted two extensions:
                                        -Allow Chrome Extensions
                                        -Faster Chrome.

The later interacts with links when you hover over them, so it could be it.

                                        It's working again.

@hectormaciasa1979: OK problem persists, so that wasn't it. This is absolute Crap. Copy and paste entire profile folder into 72 beta and it works like a charm, like 70 and all previous versions up until when it was introduced.

Also all submenus options aren't highlighted.

                                          Win10.

Would have been cool to have a list of changed settings. Because of a different default flag for samesite cookies, I couldnt sign in to a website and was looking for the reason
