@zielony-imeehow You should be able to search for your closed tabs.

@leocg closed tabs must be visible then I'll remember what I need to reopen, not vice versa when I must first remember what tabs were closed and then search.

@leocg: forcing to use additional steps (typing, remembering what to type, how to type) in browser UI makes the browsing process more complicated.
I wonder why should I remember the exact titles of the tabs to be able to search for them later if I can do one click and see the result. Opera is breaking its own principles where the desirable info and features are always at hand.

@andrew84 You just need to remember something from the title, just like if all the closed tabs were listed.

And maybe they just can include the feature for searching in the tabs content also in closed tabs.

@kened: Talking about Opera GX's dark mode, I think the brightness (contrast) of the font should be reduced. A good example of this is the Dark Reader extension.

@kened Wouldn't be better to post that comment in GX topic?

@gmiazga: I have just installed it (the new 71.0.3742.0). The way of working seems to be a little different. The first hit is the Google search followed by the matches in my speed dials and bookmarks. But I can live with that.

@kened said in Opera 70 beta:

I think Opera GX "Force dark pages" should also be in the regular version of Opera.

I totally agree with this proposal, it is what Opera lacks to be the favorite browser of several users.
Dark mode without having to install any plugin!
