It seems that you're not going to change the bright background color of selected items in menus and dropdowns. I really don't understand why you think that in dark environment the white color looks better and better for eyes than light gray/light navy highlighted items.

@ralf-brinkmann: It seems that now 'doh' works without the Chromium's flag enabled (I mean #dns-over-https ), #opera-doh enabled is enough.

@andrew84 Yes, you are right. Now I can test again how long the connection will last.

@andrew84 Sunday morning 10 a.m. and the connection to Cloudflare is still active. So it was probably this one opera:flag. I have set all flags to default now and only turned "Use DNS-over-HTTPS instead of the system’s DNS settings" on in the normal settings page. It works.

Opera Neon is hidden again from Opera main web page. Something new is coming.

Happy too early: 2 p.m.: Connection to Cloudflare lost. The computer was running all the time. I was not at home and did not change anything.

I found a new problem:
I type "www.nikon.de" into the address bar and press return/enter. That's a concrete URL. Opera opens another page with the word "nikon" in it, that I visited once. This page was suddenly in the first position of the unfolding list of possibilities, www.nikon.de only further down.
Another example. My short cut for Google Maps is "m".
I type "m Wiesbaden" into the address bar. After the "m" I see the symbol for Google Maps, but after typing "Wiesbaden" this symbol disappears and Opera opens another page of my history with the word Wiesbaden in it. The search is ignored.W10x64, Operax64, Reborn dropdown

What about installing Google Chrome extensions in Opera (like in old times)? Google Translate in "Opera Addons" is not the same as in the Google Chrome store.

@andrew84 No, I don't see a button for installing anywhere. Formerly there was one.

@andrew84: Oh sorry, I have to correct myself. I found a symbol in the extension bar, that I didn't see before. Now it works.

@ralf-brinkmann: Try to remove 'Install Chrome Extensions' extension and reinstall it.
I can see 'Add to Opera' button and install extension.
But definitely there's something wrong with it. Sometimes I see a continuous 'Checking...' text on the button after installing or when I visit extension's page again or I see 'Add to Opera' (instead of 'Remove from Opera') button again even with the extension already installed. I need to refresh Extensions Internal page and refresh Chrome web page to get the things look correctly.
I remember that bug was already reported but still is not fixed.- I thing that the mess with extensions names, versions and developer names also refers here https://forums.opera.com/post/197159

@andrew84 My version of "Install Chrome Extensions" was still 2.4.8 and not 2.4.9 from december 2019. It was obviously not updated automatically. I have removed it now and reinstalled it. After that the button "Add to Opera" was visible.
