Omg I just found out I can comment on the blog with my forum account! So here it goes.

Opera v64, on debian testing x64, with plain openbox, nvidia legacy 340 as the gpu driver and hardware acceleration disabled in opera.

After the upgrade, all the icons on my speed dial have changed colors to some weird ones, as seen below
      https://imgur.com/a/uKAAi0b

The top image is how the icons used to be, th bottom one is how ugly they look now. Enabling hardware acceleration fixes the issue, but i'd rather keep it disabled.

      Quoting myself.
It seems that the update to 64.0.3417.54 fixed the color issue. It was really comforting to see that other users had it too, regardless of os 🙂

@jimunderscorep: other comments tell the opposite.

I don't use the 'new' Opera but I checked it quickly in .54 and for me this bug is still there (youtube's icon is still turquoise sometimes instead of default red. )

You are right, I spoke tooo soon after getting the upgrade. After the reboot, the colors are messed up again.

@jimunderscorep: I solved it by increasing the page's left upper corner (usually where's logo located) in 'heart' popup and don't spend my nerves. It's better also because the tile becomes more recognizable (solid colorful tiles repeat its colors)

Why is the Privacy Protection icon missing on Facebook?

                What is the 64.0.3417.54 update?

                Why Open the Web?

Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content.

@temkem Thanks, interesting that there is no blog post for it.

Opera for android counts as a mobile browser, so this is not the right thread to ask.

@mirekgoldberg Better ask in the Opera Mobile blog.

Opera for Android is currently at version 53.

Okay, this is weird: I got the
popup about "all new opera 64" on my android, but there is no android version of it.
So why show me the popup? Just for sake of advertisement?

You have released Stable with the known bug of minimize button, was it so difficult to fix it before the release?

Mouse over links with html attributes like alt=... or title=... shows the attribute value just flashing short and disappear immediately.

Can't add a photo within a facebook album. The file browser pops up, but after selecting a jpg file and clicking 'Open' the file browser dissapears and nothing happens. The same procedure works with Firefox.
