I think I solved it. I Googled the Chromium version from the changelog above "Chromium 147.0.7727.56" and found this Reddit thread:

Several users reported uninstalling and reinstalling the Bitwarden extension as a potential solution, and it worked for me as well. I uninstalled it while still on 131.0.5868.0 and upgraded to 131.0.5877.0. Opera was responding normally this time.

I then reinstalled the Bitwarden extension from the Opera store and it's still OK after restarting Opera again. So I guess problem solved for now.

So if anyone runs into this issue, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bitwarden extension.

Fresh install of this version. Can't play videos. IIRC it had something to do with libffmpeg.so. If someone know how exactly to fix this please let me know.

Just for clarification: If I'd ever chose to use Claude and ChatGPT via the Browser Connector will they automatically have access to my opened websites and how will this relate to the privacy of my data?
Or are they only allowed to have access if I use them actively?
But for sure: Claude an ChatGPT would run in their cloud and not only locally on my laptop then?

Hasn't a security engineer noticed yet that opening a scanned QR code immediately is dangerous? We should be able to see what's inside the QR code first and decide what to do with it! After all, a link in a QR code can be dangerous! For example, Brave simply pastes the address into the search engine—take a page from them.

To use ai makes you even more stupid. And you give chatgpt access to your info. 15 yr ago chatgpt was gone, cause famous for of course stealing info/malware etc. The more you morons use them, ai's will become intelligent.(all code ocd a-h's, use ai's, cause easy)
again makes you not a programmar, chatgpt will become more intell. Gen Z cant multiply 2 and 2 numbers without cell.
