Same here. For me the only thing that helps is closing Opera GX through Task Manager and then reopening it — after that everything works fine.
Pausing and playing a Youtube video while in Picture-in-Picture breaks the Youtube controls.

It feels weird not having the dividers in the side bar. I've also noticed that when I go to click on Instagram or Discord I accidentally click on YouTube Music and Tabs. Please bring back the dividers.

@burnout426 i know it was intentional, i just didn't think they'd force it and not allow it to be customized to what people want. Hopefully they'll end up allowing it to be customized, i keep clicking on the wrong icons. T^T (watch by then though it probably wont even matter and ill be used to the change.)

@burnout426 I did what you said, and it surprisingly worked! I changed the file name back to "opera.exe" and opened it and it still worked, so it must have been something with that windows defender stuff. Now my opera is back and now I have to remember which stuff I had where since it has been a while! Thank you so much and I hopefully dont come down this track again!

Make sure you're using 121.0.5600.64. See https://forums.opera.com/topic/33033/opera-gx-update-released. The crash fix is likely for this issue.

See https://forums.opera.com/topic/33033/opera-gx-update-released. You'll see in the changelog that the look of the sidebar was refreshed. So, it's very likely the change in the size of the icons is intentional. Opera doesn't have an option to adjust the size of them.
My entirety of Opera was wiped

It's the "Video Skip" section in settings between the "Video Pop Out" and "Personal News" sections.

The permalink for it is opera://settings/videoSkip, but that's not working yet. You can goto the URL opera://settings/?search=video+skip as a workaround for now.
Tabs and tab islands move between workspaces.
