In other words, the email address you supplied was for the droid1111 account and you managed to reset that.

Yes, it reset by sending out an email to me under the droid1111 name. It won't allow me to create and account under the opera7user name so it must still exist! Interesting. I asked it to send a password reset to opera7user's email but nothing arrives in the email account I use.

Another question though: will it work with other search engines? Like Yahoo!? DuckDuckGo? AOL Search?

i guess it will depend on the search engine.

Seems to work on Bing.

that's what I already do, but it would save the moderators work, and me some frustration. I'm surprised you haven't seen it much. It's everywhere e.g. all microsoft forums, all social media, most vbulletins etc, etc.

It means that it shouldn't be on that forum. Aa a request it should be in Suggestion Box.

And it also mean that there are already topics about it.

Port 8081 story again.

In Google Chrome, no autolog initially: signing in, loading blabla8081 with content "This site can’t be reached
etc."
Well, removed that "8081" from the address: "Sign in" box with autolog proceeded then.

Just installed uBlock, and on this site, it immediately started blocking stuff.
First of all, I noticed a "1" there, opened 'the logger', and found some https://forums.opera.com/dashboard/notifications/inform in there...
I don't get how to use all that there yet. :|

I bet the user did try linebreaking. But it's not clear to new users that this forum has it similar to that on Wiki.
