@leocg I have an assumption that that's because you have on-screen navigation bar, rather than separate navigation buttons.
Need someone to test this with buttons under the screen and 16:9 aspect ratio.

Hi, a small progress update,
I sent an Opera Bug report two Opera Mobile versions back then and now I see it could've started working.
Although, the My Tabs button on the Opera Desktop sidebar started showing up randomly, so currently I cannot see it at all as I saw it yesterday twice with all tabs greatly updated.
The sync.opera.com webpage has all my updated tabs and bookmarks shown, great!

It would be nice if one of the dev's could respond here if they are actually doing anything in this case and they're aware.

Finally, "Auto-sync data" option in phone settings causes Opera running in background. Unchecking that, issue's gone.

Phone Settings > Accounts => tap on the three dots (upper right) and uncheck Auto-sync data:

Of course, Opera Startup option should be set to "Continue where I left off".
