Hi,

Thank you very for your feedback. This week we've improved this mechanism and now there are two cases which will prevent unexpected changes to your bookmarks bar. The first is that you have manually turned off the bookmarks bar. The second case is that you have removed the suggested bookmark links which popped up recently.

If your bookmarks bar is still experiencing unexpected changes, please file a bug report so we can fix the problem for all users.

I have the same idea. Why this space? It's not necessary at all.
quick access to page setting cookies, Java,flash etc, like chrome!

The last thing I want in the tab bar is scrolling. I do not want space in that bar wasted with scroll buttons. I also want to see all the tabs I have open. If I cannot read them because they are small, there is the Tab menu button.

Then make it an option, I know tons of people who wanted and agree with the firefox tabs over the "chrome" tabs, they are horrific compared to the tabs of firefox. Scrollable sideways like a website. Too many tabs, too small, cant read shit.

@sostpm You can use this extension to install Chrome extensions: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/install-chrome-extensions/. It may not be what you're looking for regarding importing and be a bit time consuming installing them one by one, but it does work. Be advised that it wil install only extensions and not Chrome Apps since Opera is not currently designed to run Chrome webapps.

By the way, nothing has changed regarding the use of Chrome extensions in Opera.
