  @leocg You've obviously missed my point. Yes, I know all about those options. However, not all browsers choose to open every tab, but for the top one in each window, upon relaunching, thus saving many Gigs of RAM, and allowing the user to decide if and when to open any of those tabs. So my question is why doesn't Opera go this time & energy-saving route, instead of the pointless one of having to open every single one?

  @rtomasz I did a full reset of setting upon reinstalling the latest version ... things seem okay after about 12-18 hours or so.

  It would be useful to know which version of MacOS you are using, which version of Opera, and how are you are invoking Full Screen … also, what you mean exactly by "Full Screen".

  I'm on MacOS 10.14.6, Opera Stable version 63.0.3368.75, and have no trouble going Full Screen with tabs and sidebar using the green "traffic light" or Ctrl-Cmd-F, and Full Screen without tabs or sidebar using Shift-Cmd-F. To have the old-fashioned Full-Screen with menu-bar, Opt-Green-Traffic-Light works as expected.

  I had both Macs running with Opera running on both of them. If I don't Sign out and re-sign in to set up sync, the button won't show up. I've seen this reply on other related posts, but it's baloney. The other browsers don't need to be running currently, they just need to have synced their tabs.

  yup, seems two overwriting each other, but there is only one site. if I click the tab it clears, but as soon as I go to another tab, it's back.

  Pull down the Opera menu, choose "Clear Browsing Data", check the items you want removed, and click "Clear Data" button.

  @Frontman Have you tried opening the installer by Control-clicking on the icon and choosing Open from the Pop-Up menu? I was able to install it that way but I didn't succeed in making it the default browser.
