Same here, opera 117.0.5408.197. Doesn't work for any notifications from any extension I have. Before this I could click on notification (or butoon in notification) and start a timer etc. Now it just opens empty tab.

@OnceAga1n very likely yes.

Go into Opera's settings, search for "mouse", the setting should appear.

If it's on, turn it off and test again to see if the issue persists.

Looks like Lance was right!
I was able to get around this issue by closing all other windows while watching something fullscreened.
Turns out, I didn't even need to close out of the other windows- even just minimizing them worked.
In short, the current workaround is to minimize all other windows you have open.

Interesting, why I don't see any notifications about completed downloads? (Not that I wanted to, but anyway.) At the start of download it displays notification, but this goes away after any activity (click or tab change).
Maybe if "Ask where to save each file before downloading" is set, Opera does not notify? I didn't find other related settings.

With the above said, it'd just be easier to export and import all your bookmarks and then delete any bookmarks you don't want (outside of the bookmarks bar folder) and empty the bookmarks trash. Or, delete the ones you don't want first before exporting.
