@donq It's stupid, because it's setting only for Opera / search engines business, not for users. No other browsers have this setting, so user doesn't know about it and will be frustated that this or other extension doesn't work. And If you say that is financial loss for Opera, this suggest that Opera adds their own ads to search engine results? Probably to increase security and privacy, right? 😅
@johndean1940 Does the error message say what is the name of the missing DLL?
Opera 12.02 is the highest version that is supposed to be able to install and run on Win2000 - though it's unclear whether there may be problems with some Win2000 vintages. If 12.02 won't work, Opera 11.64 was the usual alternative Opera version in the past for users of Win2000.
@fujiyamage If you have the old Bookmarks file, you can just paste it into the new profile directory. That way you should recover the old bookmarks, but will loose the current ones.
@cablesix If you don't block/prevent the auto-update, if you install a previous version, that version will be used until Opera automatically updates to the current one.
Do a test. Create a test standalone installation of Opera GX to a folder on your desktop named "Opera GX Test". Then, log in to some site and choose to save the login info. Then, goto the URL opera://settings/passwords, click the 3 dots to the right of "saved passwords" and try to export.
