I notice that with the new Opera 98 version there is a lot of unused extra space above all of the speed dials. Is it possible to reduce this? If not, I would like to suggest changing it so there is not so much unused space above the speed dials.
It would be nice to be able to get rid of the feedback smiley as well.
Tabs can be created and removed with the middle mouse button. Some people would prefer to open and close tabs this way. Additionally, it would reduce or eliminate the accidental closing of tabs by clicking on the x button located to the right of every tab.

Interesting. I use the hidden HTML only version of gmail, so I won't see what you are talking about.

Initially, this will make sites look worse, but if you go to the extensions folder and open the extensions folder and then open the most recently created folder then go into the css folder and edit the ext.css file you can edit the look of the scrollbar.

The extension looks simple enough that I am tempted to take a stab at creating an extension myself.
I notice that on the Opera Help page that the Version History, located at the bottom left, does not go anywhere. Is the version history located elsewhere? Will it be coming back? I just think it would be interesting to look through.
I do not have the skill to be able to create a new extension. Is there a place that I can make a request for one?

Easy to use. It is nice to be able to customize the scrollbar to be able to see it again.
What is it called where when you move the mouse pointer over a hyperlink the link location shows up in the lower left corner of the window for a few seconds?
