@jimmayor said in Second version of Opera:
I have installed Opera on my second computer, but have not been able to att all my bookmarks, passwords, etc., to it. I just assumed I could copy the Opera Stable folder to the second computer. That doesn’t work. What is the best way to get the second computer like the first one? Thanks.
To sync your bookmarks, passwords, and other settings across multiple devices running Opera, you can use Opera's built-in synchronization feature. Here are the steps to do this:
Open Opera on your first computer and click on the "Opera" menu in the top-left corner of the window.
Click on "Settings" and then click on "Synchronization" in the left-hand menu.
If you haven't already, sign in to your Opera account or create a new one.
In the "Synchronization" settings, select the items you want to sync, such as bookmarks, passwords, and history.
Click "Sync Now" to upload your data to Opera's servers.
On your second computer, open Opera and sign in to your Opera account. You should see a prompt asking if you want to sync your data.
Click "Yes" to sync your data to the second computer.
Your bookmarks, passwords, and other settings should now be synced across both computers. If you want to ensure that both copies of Opera are identical, you can also copy the Opera Stable folder from your first computer to your second computer. However, this should not be necessary if you have successfully synced your data using Opera's synchronization feature.
