  Thanks. That was a good idea. Problem solved.

  Only it wasn't a Chrome extension, but an Opera one, "https everywhere." (That extension, though, is probably in the Chrome store too, but the Opera store carries it, and that's where I got it. I have that extension for both Firefox and Opera 23. So when I deactivated it in Opera 23, and in Firefox, the Fox Videos work in both browsers. Now I think that extension is useful, so I posted the problem on the Opera add-on website (for their extension). Hopefully, they'll get it working.

  I deleted the Opera Software folder but when I run Opera it makes a new folder and a new profile.

  On the other hand I just verified that the cache files are being created in my custom cache path even if About Opera shows the default path.

  It's working normally here... Try disabling extensions or clearing the cache.

  If your user account (the operating system's one) has a password set Opera will ask for it when you try to check the saved passwords.

  You realize that it still autofills regardless right?

  The only way I got it to work is with the middle-click.

  Javascript links don't open when right-click and select new tab.

  Yes lem729, it's the same extension. Only problem I've found with it is that there isn't a way to create a new note from scratch. Meaning no add note and then fill in what you'd like. You can highlight stuff and add new note and then edit, but can't start one from scratch. Not a big deal really, just an observation.

  I'd like to know also. I'd really like to know which part of clearing the browsers history removes them. Is it the cache, browsing history, or cookies and other site data? I cleared the browser history checking all the boxes and lost them. The only way I've found to get them back is to visit each of the bookmarks. Would be nice to have a faster way or if the browser did it automatically. Would be even nicer if they didn't remove while clearing browser history. I don't believe 12.17 did this. At least I wasn't able to reproduce it by clearing the history in 12.17.

  Not in the Speed Dial, but you can do it with your personal bookmarks! So it's there, you should put your intricate organization. In the Speed Dial, you can only create one folder for each speed dial position, no more.

  You can easily hide the bar, by just going Alt P (settings) and choose not to show the bookmarks bar. Then get an extension like Chrookmarks for Chrome or Neater Bookmarks, and click on the icon for that Bookmarks Manager when you want to see the bookmarks.
