When reading mail in M2, I double click a word ( then, it will select & high-lighted of the word I double click ) , it will also pop up the context menu automatically.
How to ask Opera to select 1 of the item from the popup context menu ?
If using Nicmd ? and what will be the setting ?
so that I will need to tell Nicmd starting from double click ?
Or a smple mouse gesture sequence would do the job ?
Hi blackbird. Yeah, I've tried different editing parts of different strings. But paypal and google show problems with it. The closest thing that does work is: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 5.1) Presto/2.12.388 Version/12.16 Firefox/36.0. Let me know if you got any more suggestions.
Click on Options and change it. If you already have a copy of Opera installed you will need to change the install path first (to convince it not to update the previous install), but then you should be able to select all users.
Session Buddy is a great session tool. Not only can you save sessions manually with it but it also saves them automatically and keeps copies for quite awhile. If your system crashes you can use these to get right back to what you were working on. On top of that you can load individual windows and tabs instead of the whole session if you like. You can also search your sessions, and a few other bells and whistles. Its better than the original Opera Session tool in just about every way you could think of.
I did have multiple password saved for gmail, one for my personal account, one for my different android account etc, so is it still possible to save multiple passwords for gmail with different email addresses (multiple)?
OK, but why this button appeared? I have several computers with Opera without this button and the only one with the "Search" button. Is this computer the Chosen One?
Problem I have is that ... also Version 12 on XP has stopped going into any site with security - just comes back and says the signature is out of date or something...
We seem to be going backwards? ...
We're not so much going backwards as the Internet and current reality are moving onward, but Opera 12 remains a browser frozen in time... so it's not moving anywhere. Communications with a secure site require a number of things to line up correctly: acceptable secure communications protocols, acceptable signed key certificates for the site accessible by the browser from its own computer and current with both the comm protocol and the specified encryption method(s) offered by the site, the specified encryption method(s) available via the browser, and no hiccups occurring in any of the handshaking necessary to set it all up when a site is visited. However, acceptable communications protocols change in response to both emerging exploits and progress in standards; certificates change for a variety of reasons; encryption methods evolve with the passage of time. As time goes by, it will be harder and harder for an unchanging Opera 12 to stay current with the demands of secure sites.
Thanks guys for the speedy response. That did it. On one hand, it's too bad we have to jump through these hoops. On the other hand, it's nice that we have the hoops to jump through.
Sounds like a classic PEBCAK error. Reading the documentation of the forum should help you correct it. I'll link it here but its also at the bottom of every page.
That's right and why I stuck with it when it was integrated. I originally started to use it because it was small and fast compared with the major offerings. I still have back-ups from those days if you want bona fides. It's interesting that people wouldn't understand;
1 program that does everything = easy
2 programs that have to be updated, configured and accessed separately = annoying
All-in-one is a real point of market differentiation and I'm saying this because I've loved the program until this change.
I think that chrome has an add-on for the off-line browsing of mail. I'm off to check it out.
in the "param" field, things should work. But, it's just better to set Outlook Express as the default mail client and use "open with default application"
