Thank you to everyone. I had activated the 'view' for hidden files, but I realized that I needed to activate it for hidden folders. that did the trick.

The reason I wanted to do this is now no longer needed. I was having trouble with blank rows within the RSS feeds when I opened Opera Mail. I created another copy to see if it was a corrupt database as someone had suggested.

The same thing continued in the new copy of Opera Mail and I found out how it happens.

If I leave any RSS feed selected and shut down Opera Mail it may or may not create those blank rows. If I shut Opera Mail down and anything in the mail section is selected I have no problems.

Also I noticed that if I select Compose and any RSS feed is selected I lose most of the features associated with composing. So as long as I'm anywhere in the mail section and not the RSS feed section all is well.

Thanks for the link to the Bug Report Wizard, lem. I bookmarked it right away.

And just in case the Devs decide NOT to re-add the "Open Image in New Tab" option to the Right Click menu ... thanks for the heads up on the workaround on how to accomplish the task via the alternate method.

I also miss that very effective mouse gesture. Why do not the opera's devlopers implement it back. I thing it isn't so dificult task for them, is it?

Yes, I hope since the first release of ChromiumOpera in 2013 that it will come back. They implemented two new gestures in the latest build but not this, there are working gestures for Firefox+Chrome and it was so great in Opera12. I gonna try Vivaldi soon and will leave Opera probably if they stay that slow with improvement.

Thanks, but this works not at all for me. The Extension dosent work on new tabs/SpeedDail-tabs and gets distracted with minimal mouse movement.

I have the latest Adobe Flash installed::

Chrome (embedded), Opera, Chromium-based browsers - PPAPI 17.0.0.169

And looking at Developers Plugins::

PPAPI (out-of-process) You have version 17,0,0,169 installed

NPAPI You have version 17,0,0,169 installed

But I figured it out, I have an extension called Ghostery that blocks malware, advertising popups etc, when I pause that extension, videos play. So I put the USAToday on its white listed list, and now all is well.

I will tell you that many of us started with the same attitude and disbelief when New Opera came out.

All you have to do is remember the fits and starts we went through when learning how to use the Old Opera.

Just start working your way through it, it will come over time - but you will never get back some of the interface you are used to (like a mail client within O29, and bookmarks how it used to be). It just takes time.

But I WILL tell you the New Opera is much smoother and efficient than Old Opera and almost all pages load unlike Old Opera where so many will not load correctly
