Still waiting for an answer from one of the software engineers at Opera!
Easy to add the disable feature back to the flags! Why hasn't anyone done this yet?

RE: Disable audio tab indicatorOpera for Windows
Me too, I just asked about this finding the solution to removing the audio indicator for tabs back in May set the flag to disabled and sure enough the past week I find this annoying "feature" right back again!!!!
My eyes are very sensitive to any movement and I constantly find myself looking away from the page when I see the sound meter movement on the tab. Please restore the experiment button to disable this please. Thanks!

RE: Why opera, WHY?Opera for Windows
What's with the grey everywhere color on the latest Opera 30.0? I really hate it too much and it looks busy and
annoying to my eyes. How can I get rid of it? The grey is apparently the background color framing of many websites as default. Heck even when you click the opera menu grey is EVERYWHERE! -
Opera 30.0 How to get rid of the excessive gray color framing on most all websites.Opera for Windows
I think this started with Opera 30.0. It seems that almost everything is framed with gray coloring around the edges of the activity areas. It is really too much I know it helps focus but I find it annoying and overkill. I like my basic white.
I have NOT changed anything in Windows 7 to cause this. How do I change this feature, is it located in Opera flags?
Thanks. -
RE: Stop changing the browser interface !!!Opera for Windows
I too am getting annoyed with the number of changes, which seem to be only for the sake of change.
I know we can do manual updates to versions but we shouldn't have to avoid the blizzard of changes.

RE: This webpage is not availableOpera for Windows
I've also found this to be a problem, especially Yahoo seems to have this issue a lot.

RE: Auto updateOpera for Windows
In windows XP and 7 as well ... in the control pangel go to "scheduled tasks" and double click
then look down the list for Opera Scheduled AutoUpdate..double click on this, and then
look down at the box for a check mark in the box entitled "Enabled" click the box to "uncheck" this
option, and then click "apply" then click "OK". This disables the autoupdate option.Note: The Opera Scheduled AutoUpdate listing my be "hidden" by default, in that case look at the top of the page for the "advanced" tab and click make sure that
"show hidden updates" listing is checkmarked, if it is not click the listing to check mark it. Then it will show the Opera Auto Update listing. If you dare to update manually, all you need to do is go to the Opera tab in the upper left hand corner and then look down the list to "About Opera" Opera will automatically start to look for an update
and download it, and then install.WARNING! Do NOT click on "About Opera" if you DO NOT want an update!

RE: Opera 25.0.1614.50 seems slightly slower than the last version of 24. Also pages occasionally crashOpera for Windows
Thanks for your feedback cornel-pv!
My situation with the page crashes seems to affect simple pages without that kind of a link.
I also noticed that YouTube is one site that will crash pages repeatedly, so perhaps there is a problem with flash at least.
I'm sorry that I updated, because the last version of 24 worked really well and was fast. Hopefully
they will sort out the teething problems. -
RE: Opera 25 Poor Youtube PerformanceOpera for Windows
Interesting I have had that "an error occurred" message show up on ALL my browsers
including Google Chrome and IE.I also think that over all it seems like 25 is slower to load all pages compared to the last version of 24.
Also version 25.0.1614.50 is having a lot of page crashes, I have never experienced this before with any other Opera version.
