When you go to the Torrenting page to attempt log-in, where in the process does the error appear? (When you access the page or when you attempt to send the log-in?) It sounds from the error description you quoted that setting up a log-in to that site may involve the site server sending you a special client log-in certificate to be used thereafter. However, it appears that either Opera isn't accessing the old cert correctly, a correct cert no longer exists, or there's something wrong in the handshaking process with the server to negotiate the cert and perform verification. Have you tried setting up another account at the site (to obtain a new client cert)?

Ah, ok. You said you ar eusing an 64 bits version of Opera so i thought it was 12.17 as there is no 64 bits version of Opera Blink.

Must have to do with silverlight or such

I don't think so as i'm not using silverlight here.

there is no native feature in Opera for exporting bookmarks to HTML
you can try with extensions... like this one 🙂 (from settings)

I've got it from the Chrome webstore and it won't work properly anymore.
Only the youtube enlargement itself will do.

It seems to be working here.

I think the issue is that many people were using the old speed dial. Opera has been saying it was going to go away for many releases now and the only way to keep it was by enabling it in flags or being grandfathered in. When they finally did remove it the transfer to the new speed dial was jarring because it didn't save the speed dials for some reason. If you've been using the 'new' speed dial for the last several releases already, because its been the default for awhile, nothing changed.

Mask as Internet Explorer. You can set the preference only for the google site if you like. (right click, Edit Site Preferences, network, Mask as Internet Explorer)

Of course if you had posted just to say that your problem was solved, there wouldn't be a problem. However, you posted something before it and that was the post i was referring to.

🙂 I've been working on this stuff all day long today. Tried all possible options and recommendations what people have been giving me here and at the end when there were no progress of any kind I decided to go the simplest way-the way of dummies! I uninstalled my Vipre and intalled different anti virus. After the full scan was done and machine was restarted I opened Opera and there were no nasty warning about Trojan any more! Maybe by doing so I am fooling myself,but scan results were absolutely positive which means that there were no any conflicts of threats found on machine which brings some peace of mind for now. One way or another I have invaluable experience after I visited this forum and gained more understanding. Thanks a mill! ☕

The warning this time is: authentication failed.

Have you tried typing your login and password again? Also, have you tried changing the authentication method?

Check also if ssl is enabled.
