The heart icon is used to add a bookmark/speed dial entry and edit a bookmark/speed dial entry. You don't see it on the speed dial page itself, you see it on the page you have saved. So if you want to edit a page you first have to go to it and then click the heart icon.
Well, just to close this out, I found someone on another forum that had the exact same problem. The most sure fire solution is as follows: Try the "classic" Wise installer instead.
I should add that some websites use ip address to track your geolocation, but that only give an approximate location such as the city where you are from.
When you first run it hit F9 to change the directory to Opera. There is a button that will display that will specifically change it to Opera's directory.
Open folder Opera
Open folder defaults
Found file 'search.ini' and open in Text Editor
String 'Default Search='
Look down on the text and change to whatever you want
This is for Opera Presto and will not work in Opera Blink.
Unless I am mistaken, there is not an option to remove a bookmark via the heart menu, but there will be an option to do so in a future version of Opera, probably the next version. Currently, you can use the heart menu to remove a speed dial entry, however, which is what I suspect leocg is referring to.
You need to enable a flag for the button to appears. But it may have consequences so i guess it's better to wait.
