  Yes, while viewing the Startpage, go to the menu and use the zoom arrows (< 100% >) to zoom in and out of the page, which will increase or reduce the tile sizes accordingly.

  This is incorrect. You can sync bookmarks with Opera 27.

  I have the same problem with Youtube. It's usually like this:
  Open a video in a new tab.
  Open another tab with anything else.
  Close this last tab and the Youtube tab becomes active.
  The flash object doesn't respond. If I click on the tab name on top, then the video responds to clicking.

  I already have Magic Actions. I tried disabling it but it didn't work.

  I found the easiest way.

  First one should export the bookmarks:

  "File -> Import and Export -> Export Opera Bookmarks..."

  and then to combine them in the browser they want by simply:

  "File -> Import and Export -> Import Opera Bookmarks..."

  Everything is now working flawlessly, actually better than ever. I fixed the missing search engines (Bing & Google) in my O-12.17 search window by copying, and then sending to my e-mail, the appropriate addresses on my Lady's laptop 12.17 search window and then pasting them into my own. I shall stay with 12.17 - a wonderful intuitive program. My thanks to all of you for trying to sort things out for me.

  You can still click on the heart. When you do a drop down menu open. By entering there you will find a second arrow within your unsorted bookmarks and at the bottom of the list is "Bookmarks Bar". Clicking on this will add the item to your bookmark bar bypassing the + at the left of the bar. However... I'm not certain you can remove that + button.
