Some would say that Opera 12.16 is an upgrade if you're currently using Opera 18, while I prefer Opera 11.64.

They are working on a Bookmarks Manager for Opera 18, but importing bookmarks from Firefox is not top of their agenda.
Why does the focus disappear when moving between links on this page?

It is always better to use latest version of a web browser as the latest one is usually more secure and better in performance than previous versions. Latest version also has better compatibility with flash player and other software.

Same problem for me since several months, it's really annoying. Many times a single reload also won't help, often it takes many attempts and patience to load a page like youtube properly. (Opera version 12.16, winXP)
Opera on my Laptop doesn't have these problems at all (same version, but win 7)...
Im going blind - Where is the high contrast on the new operas?

Windows usually have some built in high contrast color schemes. If you used one of these in Windows wouldn't the settings transfer over to the browser automatically?

They didn't remove it. It has never been there since Opera Blink was first launched.

I would like to hear a reason why this particular feature should be re-implemented in Opera Blink when we don't have even important features like keyboard shortcut customisation. If we had that, you could set F2 to focus the address field.

Clearly, some features are used by very few users, while others are used by many or most users. The developers need to prioritise and not waste their time on recreating stuff that almost no-one uses, instead of innovating and fixing important bugs.

Yes, I've imported them from 12.16.
I've deleted same user and pass in the Wand in order to try to solved the problem with a new login, but didn't work out.
About the field recognition, hope it will be solved soon.

I believe you're correct... the settings page is definitely there, as are the linked pages on it (and thanks to QuHno for suggesting it). But it's just sad that a web archive is the only safety net for something like this, though I'm certainly glad it exists. Opera never gave any warning I ever saw that they were dropping the data from their own sites; some of the pages even worked fine from browser bookmarks after the redesign of the site began and page links to them evaporated, only to suddenly have them completely disappear without any warning or links later on. I kept thinking Opera would certainly keep a record on its own servers with links from its new site pages, as an Opera archive. It's a sorry testimony for even low-cost support of a browser version (12.16) Opera still offers as a download and workaround for users who want it instead of Blink Opera. I wonder how many Old Opera users with settings questions will ever think to try an independent archive site or view this thread... 😞

If you want to login on a page, just go to that page and your login and password will be automatically inserted on those fields if previously saved. If you want to use another (saved) username/login, just start typing it or use the down arrow key.

Folders work fine in the Personal bar - that is, you can add a Bookmarks folder to your personal bar; you can't have a "group" on the Personal bar which is not a folder in Bookmarks. If you open Manage Bookmarks you can just drag a folder to the Personal bar.

Hi Pesala, and many thanks for that.

I've gone to Settings > Websites > Pop-ups > Manage exceptions and added the two sites with action 'block'

But the 'Do not allow any sites to show pop-ups (recommended'' option is selected, so I'm not sure whether adding exceptions will make any difference.

I may be back.......
