RE: Opera Freezing - I'm doneOpera for Windows
It's not a beta issue because Opera does it as well. As noted in my first post it's all Chromium based browsers. When you asked for the version number I could have given you the Opera version as well because both versions freeze the entire system.

Opera Freezing - I'm doneOpera for Windows
Unless someone can offer a real fix for Opera hanging so often then I'm moving on.
For who knows what reason, Opera and Chrome freeze the entire computer for 30 some seconds. In Chrome it's always "waiting for cache". Not sure what Opera is doing. I've searched far and wide for more months than I ever care to give to any piece of software. I've uninstalled, moved cache, ran more diags on my drive than I ever have for any reason. I've tried every black magic trick anyone has ever mentioned on dozens of forums with zero success.
I've since moved back to FF and dare I say IE (at least they don't hang the entire system). I've not had one freeze in over a week. I tried Opera and Chrome again this morning and within 5 minutes both froze everything.
Any ideas 'cause I really do like Opera and would like it to be my default browser?
We'll add a little poll to see how many of you experience browser freeze on the big name brands
