Opera would be perfect if it had full bookmark functionality. Like being able to import from another browser and to backup Opera bookmarks.

I have been trying to get away from Firefox based browsers. I like Slimjet 64bit version because it is fast and it offers me one important feature (to me) that Chrome does not offer, and that is a bookmarks side panel that I can keep docked such as what Firefox has. With that being said,their bookmarks side panel does not work as well as the V7 Bookmarks extension does here in Opera. If there was a way that I could get V7 to work in Slimjet, then I would probably use Slimjet exclusively over Opera 30.0. But so far, I have not found a way to do that.

The button tooltip is "Start page", the name Speed Dial is referred to sometimes. It goes to show the concept of Speed Dial as a start point for the many different pages you may want to access instead of a fixed "home" page.

Bookmarks bar, Speed dial, or other bookmarks? With the bookmarks bar, you can right-click on an item for a menu that includes Edit and Remove. Same with Speed dial. Other ... you'd have to tell us whether you are using an extension or Opera 25.

Settings > open this page. Configure the site you want to be opened you open the browser

Settings > Browser > Default Browser. There should be a button to make Opera the default browser.

Are you talking about Opera (full, not Mini) for Android?

Maybe the problem is linked to Off-road (Mini mode), try disabling it and reloading the page.
