first reboot/restart your phone... second when you exit opera it forgets.. hold back button or enter menu and power off but you must do that very fast before opera crash.. or try ending proces in application running.. you can try clear cache memory but i dont think it will help.. if nothing helps than clear data you will lose everything but you don't have to reinstall

tlorenzger, just checking... you have updated to the latest version? There was an unfortunate bug that slipped past in our recent release which would cause some configurations to crash on startup. An update was released a couple of hours later to fix that issue.
If that's not the cause I'd be very interested in hearing about the crash. If it crashes on what we call "session restore" we really need to track it down. Can you tell me the link causing the crash... or perhaps post some details about your phone so I can locate it in our crash logging system.

Perhaps you can use tinypic, imgur or some similar service and post a link here? OR alternatively log a bug here https://bugs.opera.com/wizard/mobile attach an image and post the bug number here in this thread.

@tlorenzger I couldn't find the report, can you send us the issue number, you would have got an email with that when reporting, typically ANDEX-xxxxx for the Opera for Android product.

@emoller sorry but never received such an email. Reports are just sent without getting some mail feedback. only small message window saying thanks for reporting. What now?

@tlorenzger you sure you added the bug in our bug wizard at https://bugs.opera.com/wizard/mobile ?
You might've mistaken the crash report to GP for our issue reporting. -

@emoller ah sorry I thought this was a reference to the Android / Google system crash report. Added bug to opera site now. Number is ANDEX-22513.

@emoller Update to new version yesterday did not fix the issue.
the session history probably is stored somewhere. is is possible to edit /delete or maybe send you that file?

@sagrid No. don't want to loose login data and favorites. O expect the program to work without errors!!!
That should also be the intension of opera developers.

Only cache deletion and reboot is at hand. Also app stop and restart was suggested on GP.

@tlorenzger, sorry you can only access those files if you have a rooted phone which I presume you don't. I do remember we used to have a debug option to start without "session restore" which is what we call it. I'm not sure if we still have that and whether or not it's there in production builds. I'll check with someone tomorrow.

Hello
Phone is not rooted (up to now). Does it help if application is copied to external SD card? Or are such settings still stored internally?
