I dont like the new browser Orepa.i want back the older version from yesterday

  • i do not like the new look of Opera browser and already told you if you update and have to take a part of a d___h sentence.go for it.bring back the yesterday version of my broswer and stop angry me

  • Yes. I will stay with Opera 26... using "new start page". The new versions are worse.

  • Type opera//:flags in the address bar and change it to the old version.

  • The update does not remove the old version, but you can disable updates in Opera 12 to prevent it from installing the new version.

  • 1 type opera://flags/ in the address bar if you cant, go to opera://settings/ delete //settings/ type //flags/ now you can access to opera://flags/
2 search for Experimental start page and turn it on (the start page will look like new startpage in opera 26 except the navigation still at the bottom
    3 restart opera

  • Thanks for the tip, tankietopera1907.
I do not like the "NEW" look of Opera. I do not even recognize the browser anymore as it has changed that much.
The most distasteful change was to put that "speed dial/bookmarks/discover bar" at the bottom of the page. It is very inconvenient even for mouse selecting.
I honestly would like to know what the designer was thinking on this change. Promotion perhaps?

  • Obrigado tankietopera1907, me ajudou muito. Só gostaria de saber como tira a mensagem: voltar para a página inicial antiga, veja o print: http://prntscr.com/5yf3r7

    Not possible.

  • Apparently (according to an Opera Mod on the Blogs) having speed dial/bookmarks/discover to the left covers up too much of the speed dial background picture!!!

I'd personally add buttons to the address bar for bookmarks and discover or on the bookmarks bar like Safari. They'd not take up too much space and would be available at any time.

  • No one of you helped me.i really wants the old version back.i dont want to scroll the mice down to the bottom when NEW TAB to browse webs

That's because none of the responders in this thread are Opera developers, so there's nothing they can do about altering the design. If you actually just want an old Opera version back, you'll need to install it anew by yourself. Old Opera versions for Windows can be found at: ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/win/ , click on the version you want, select either English (en) or International Language (int) versions, then select whether you want 32 or 64 bit versions. Install and enjoy...

Otherwise, if you merely want to complain, good luck with that. This is primarily a helps forum where Opera users help other users with usage or technical problems, to the degree that they can. Changing the browser design falls outside the nature of problems they can help with.
