That's because none of the responders in this thread are Opera developers, so there's nothing they can do about altering the design. If you actually just want an old Opera version back, you'll need to install it anew by yourself. Old Opera versions for Windows can be found at: ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/win/ , click on the version you want, select either English (en) or International Language (int) versions, then select whether you want 32 or 64 bit versions. Install and enjoy...

Otherwise, if you merely want to complain, good luck with that. This is primarily a helps forum where Opera users help other users with usage or technical problems, to the degree that they can. Changing the browser design falls outside the nature of problems they can help with.

I'd personally add buttons to the address bar for bookmarks and discover or on the bookmarks bar like Safari. They'd not take up too much space and would be available at any time.

I do not like the "NEW" look of Opera. I do not even recognize the browser anymore as it has changed that much.
The most distasteful change was to put that "speed dial/bookmarks/discover bar" at the bottom of the page. It is very inconvenient even for mouse selecting.
I honestly would like to know what the designer was thinking on this change. Promotion perhaps?
